Kïnko stickers can be installed on any type of floor with or without waxing.
Kïnko offers an installation service. This includes the delivery and installation of the stickers. We can do the installations on weekends and during pedagogical days so as not to disturb the many movements of students in the school.
The cost of the installation service varies depending on orders of 3 trays or more. You must also calculate the additional travel costs of $1/km when your establishment is located outside our region.

First, if your school floor is waxed, in order to make your investment profitable, it is important to check with your janitorial service if a future stripping of the floor is planned in the coming years. If a future stripping is planned, it is necessary to wait until it is done before installing your Kïnko corridors.

When you undertake the installation on floors with or without wax, it is important to clean the floors of your trays well. Do not be afraid to use an industrial soap and scrub well to remove all traces of residue.

Make sure the floors are clean and dry before starting installation.

All of our stickers are industrially cut. You do not have to cut out each outline of the shapes to be affixed. However, in order to clearly visualize the entire surface to be filled, we suggest that you make a rough cut of each item in order to separate them. Place each cut item on the floor where you want to stick them. Arrange all the items to cover the surface of the board as you wish. When you are sure of the positioning of each one, it is time to start gluing. Before gluing each item, wipe the surface with a small dry cloth to remove any small seeds that may have been invited. Finally, detach the sticker from its support and stick it on the floor. With your cloth, rub to help the glue adhere well.

For floors with waxing, it is essential to wait 24 hours before undertaking a first coat of waxing in order to give the glue time to adhere well. In addition, to ensure that the edges of the stickers are well sealed, it is recommended to apply 4 to 5 coats of wax.
For linoleum floors (unwaxed floors), it is important to wait 24 hours before using them to give the glue time to adhere properly.
